Dr. Uffe Braae

About

Dr. Uffe Christian Braae is a One Health Epidemiologist with broad experience in human and livestock field epidemiological studies, clinical trials, project management, and surveillance of zoonotic diseases and foodborne pathogens. Research areas include control and prevention of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD) and foodborne pathogens, using tools such as computational modelling and GIS. Dr Braae holds a PhD in Public Health and Epidemiology from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark and has published more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed international scientific journals. In addition to his Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine adjunct research position, Dr Braae holds a research position at Statens Serum Institut (The Danish National Public Health Institute) and is currently serving on two editorial boards.
