Dr. Pompei Bolfa

About

Dr. Pompei Bolfa is a board certified pathologist (DACVP), associate professor of anatomic pathology and serves as Pathology division head at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where he started in 2014. He received his DVM degree in 2004 from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, Romania. After 3 years in a mixed practice he developed an interest for research and teaching, started a PhD in equine infectious anemia and also began teaching infectious diseases at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He then moved to a full time Pathology teaching position, and started training for the Veterinary Anatomic Pathology board exam, which he successfully completed in 2016 while in St. Kitts

Dr. Bolfa's research interests include primary or collaborative focus  on one health oriented areas like comparative pathology, primate pathology, tropical keratopathy, pulmonary silicate pneumoconiosis, veterinary pathology, avian pathology and tropical diseases and many others.
