Dr. Andre Escobar

About

Dr. André Escobar has completed his veterinary degree at Federal University of Minas Gerais (2005), and his masters (2007) and PhD at Sao Paulo State University (UNESP) in Brazil. During five years (2011-2016), he worked as a professor of Veterinary Anesthesia in two different Universities in Brazil, including UNESP, where he was also a post-doc researcher.

In 2012, Dr. Escobar got board certified in the Brazilian College of Veterinary Surgery and Anesthesia (anesthesia specialty), and in 2019 he completed his residency program in Veterinary Anesthesia at the University of Georgia. His main research focus is anesthesia in avian species.
