Dr. Robert Gilbert

About

Dr. Robert Gilbert received his veterinary education in South Africa at the University of Pretoria. He spent time in private practice and corporate practice (artificial insemination) before returning to the University for post-graduate study. He later completed a residency in theriogenology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before returning as a faculty member to the University of Pretoria (Onderstepoort).  From 1988 through 2016 he served on the faculty of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University, where he also held various administrative positions. He joined Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016.
